In a Finnish mag they were asked for three things that they would like to change in the band.
Pauli answered: "Aki, Eero and Lauri. (laughing) Or I'd change you into women."
If you had a baby, what would you call it?
Lauri: "Dexter or Milou"
(He NEEDS to get a dog ^^')
Interviewer: What song you would choose to play at your wedding?
Eero: Maybe it could be the theme song of Star Wars. It is so impressive.
Eero: - Finland is a very big country, with a small amount of people, and we are a very shy race. Therefore people drink a lot to get rid of the shyness. In the winter everyone gets depressed and they drink even more.
Lauri feels offended: Man, you make it seem like the worst place in the world!
Eero: - Well, you know, the nature is nice....
The Rasmus on the helsinki railway station:
Lauri: "there are four statues of men holding giant balls at the top of the railway station. The balls give off light. When no one is looking though, the statues kiss and touch eachothers balls!"
What do you think of Lauri's hair?
Pauli: I like it very much, because Eero and I have designed it!
Eero: He can sleep with it, when he wakes up he doesn't have to do his hair!
Mag : Every one of you has a nickname...
Pauli: Yes and every one of them are true! For example, I’m called Tonni which means a ton. Cool, isn’t? But the last days I began to think that I should be called “two hundred tonnes”. It sounds better, don’t you think so?
Lauri: I put once some plumes in my hair, just for fun but since then I am Lintu – a bird.
Eero: My nickname is Suuntavaisto, in Finnish it means “the feeling of orientation”. It’s because every time we are in new place, boys are asking me which direction to go. I had never been wrong yet!
Pauli: Yeah, Eero must have some kind of compass inside. If we don’t listen to him, we’re getting lost...
Aki: And my surname is simply Hattu, it means a hat in Finnish.
There was this one French magazine, Lauri had to translate the french phrases to Finnish. The little cheek purposely translated them all wrong! It was so funny to read! I'll scan it later, but here it is:
F: Salut, comment t'appelles-tu? (Hi, what's your name?)
L: Moi, ketäs sun nimi on? ('Hi, what's your name', but said in a silly way, childish.)
F: Allons boire un verre! (Let's have a drink!)
L: Mehuu! (Juice!)
F: Je t'aime. (I love you.)
L: Sä oot ihan jees. (You're a bit of okay.)
F: Dans les ombres. (In the shadows.)
L: Kännissä. (Drunk.)
F: The Rasmus, vous etes les meilleurs! (The Rasmus, you're the best!)
L: The Rasmus imee! (The Rasmus sucks!)
